Job summary
We are growing Harris is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team in the capacity of Assistant Controller in the Public Sector Group.Responsibilities
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of monthly financial reporting
- Review account reconciliations, analyze monthly results, and prepare reporting to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assess and recommend appropriate accounting treatments on complex issues
- Review variance analysis (actuals to forecast and prior period) for all business units across Harris
- Provide ongoing training to Finance team on financial reporting topics
