Analyst, Data & Analytics.

  • We are looking for an
    _Analyst, Data & Analytics_ to create and deliver trusted metrics and dashboard reporting from our project and portfolio management tool to help teams and leaders improve technology delivery to meet business needs.
  • Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be in the following head office locations: London, Toronto, or Winnipeg. This is a fulltime permanent position.
    What you wil do

Business Problem Analysis

  • Identify and understand business problems and requirements related to project portfolio management (PPM), including portfolio health status, financial summaries, resource management, etc.
  • Develop solutions, recommendations and plans to solve these problems with data analysis, metrics in dashboards, and reporting based on the data from our Broadcom Clarity PPM tool

Data Analysis

  • Complete data analysis and discovery
  • Build insights, better understand the data and the story it is telling to drive actionable results
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets
  • Influence data quality through adherence to best practices in data collection and management; through collaboration with delivery teams to improve data collection processes
  • Design, build and maintain userfriendly, interactive data visualizations and dashboards using complex datasets in Power BI for operational and management decision making
  • Develop and implement metrics and performance indicators
  • Design, write, debug, test, and fix analytics assets

Communication and Collaboration

  • Collaborate daily with the core metrics, reporting and analytics team and delivery teams
  • Share learnings with others across the company, including leadership, delivery teams and community of practice participation

What you will bring

  • 35+ years of applied data management experience (Data modeling & analytics education an asset)
  • Expertise in PowerBI, SharePoint, SQL
  • Experience developing project portfolio management dashboards, preferably leveraging the Broadcom Clarity PPM data model
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong organization skills
  • Proven learning ability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a challenging work environment
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Agile, practical, customer serviceoriented mindset
  • Generally curious and excited to learn new things

What will set you apart

  • Experience working with and customizing Rego Consulting's Power BI reports
  • Experience developing Jaspersoft reports
  • Experience developing portlets in Clarity PPM
  • Experience with statistical analysis, and ability to write up written reports and summaries based on dashboards and analytics
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $51,400*:
  • $95,200** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
