Planning & Projects Coordinator.

As the
Planning & Projects Coordinator, you'll be the support behind our Corporate Planning and Projects department. From coordinating schedules and documentation to supporting project managers, you'll ensure seamless planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of tasks.

With expert coordination, stakeholder communication, and a passion for driving results, this role will play a crucial role in achieving successful project completion.


This opportunity offers the ability to work remotely from anywhere in British Columbia.

What's the role?
As the
Planning & Projects Coordinator, you'll take charge of coordinating and administering our Corporate Planning and Projects department. From scheduling to documentation, your attention to detail will be key. You'll also provide crucial support to project managers and teams, ensuring smooth planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of tasks.

Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and make a meaningful impact on our corporate planning initiatives and project objectives.


Your duties will include:

  • Provides administration and service coordination support for the Corporate Planning and Projects department.
  • Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations on Corporate Planning and Projects functions.
  • Responsible to coordinate internal resources and involve appropriate stakeholders.
  • Supports the development of tailored messaging by writing, editing, and distributing communications materials to stakeholders.
  • Assist project managers in creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Monitor and track project progress, track key milestones, and report on project status to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying potential issues or risks that may impact project delivery and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that team members have the necessary resources and tools to complete their tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • Grade 12 education and completion of a Post-Secondary Certificate in Office Administration; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two years of recent, related experience, preferably in a financial sales or service environment.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the implementation of projects.
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or project coordination experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with developing and implementing business process improvements would be an asset.
