    _Regional register Practical Nurse__ _
    _Clinical Research Coordinator __who can work for us on a_
    _ fulltime, permanent basis__, working _
    _Monday to Friday__ supporting our two _
    _Ottawa__ _**_locations._

_ Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:_
- _ To conduct the clinical research study according to the study protocol, GCP, and the LMC Manna Research SOP/WP_
- _ To be knowledgeable of the protocol so that all study activities are completed correctly_
- _ To recruit patients for participation in clinical research studies according to research ethics board recommendations_
- _ To obtain proper written informed consent from each study participant prior to participation in the study_
- _ To screen the potential study participants according to the protocol's inclusion and exclusion criteria_
- _ To schedule study participant visits as per protocol_
- _ To perform delegated protocol specific activities completely and accurately_
- _ To obtain vital signs as required per protocol (i.e. blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, waist measurement, weight & height)_
- _ Provide lifestyle adherence counseling & general training / education to study participants, as required by protocol_
- _ To obtain all necessary documentation as required by the protocol (i.e. ECG, echocardiogram or pulmonary function test results)_
- _ To monitor and report all adverse experiences and abnormal results to the Investigator, Sponsor and IRB if necessary_
- _ To create & complete source documents and any other research documents required for the successful conduct of a clinical research study_
- _ Meet with the Sponsor's representatives to discuss the conduct of the study and review study data_


_ Requirements:
_


  • Registered in good standing as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- _ Strong knowledge of medical terminology_
- _ Knowledge of general research procedures and regulatory requirements_
- _ Previous experience with phlebotomy is an asset_
- _ Strong communication and interpersonal skills_
- _ Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills_
- _ Proficiency with MS Office including creating spreadsheets, reports and presentation_
