Tyco Integrated Fire & Security is a recognized leader in the manufacture, sales, and service of state-of-the-art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, security, sound, nurse call, integrated systems, portable extinguishers, and sprinklers systems.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Fire Alarm team in Hamilton.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the installation of equipment at customer sites, ensuring a professional, timely and costeffective installation process.
- Supervise employees and subcontractors
- Manage projects (and processes) to ensure consistent project delivery
- Maintain project paperwork including contracts, revisions, estimates, work drawings and specifications
- Work with both internal and external customers and employees to schedule and manage the project from preconstruction through completion
- Generate foreman packages, preengineering, meeting minutes and closeout documents
- Promote the overall installation capabilities and products of SimplexGrinnel
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience including planning, processing, delivery, and construction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong background in electronics
- Knowledge of CAN/ULC Codes and Ontario Building Code is an asset
- Valid driver's license, with a good driving record
- Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred:
- CFAA Certification
- PMP certificate
