Parsons Calgary Office is looking for a registered professional hydrogeologist, engineer, or other qualified scientist withprogressive and diverse experience with contaminated sites in western and northern Canada.

We are looking for a technical specialist to support environmental project work as it relates to site assessment, risk assessment/management and remediation of salt, petroleum hydrocarbon and/or fertilizer impacted sites.


  • Conceptual site model and data gap analysis
  • Soil vapour intrusion
  • Risk assessment
  • Tier 2 sitespecific guideline modification
  • Groundwater analytical and numerical models
  • Remedial technologies/options evaluation


Thorough understanding of Alberta regulatory frameworks is required; experience with other regulatory frameworks (CCME, SK, MB, BC, NWT) is an asset.

Hands-on experience in GIS, databases and basic programming is a bonus.


Qualifications:

  • 4year degree in a scientific discipline
  • Direct/specialized experience in one or more of the disciplines listed.
  • Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills.
  • Eligibility for registration in, or maintaining a good standing in, a professional organization.
