    The opportunity

    Working within a unique team of technical SME's and engineers that are committed to providing the necessary support to ensure safe and compliant work around assets, the Right of Way Management Team is currently looking to add a Crossing Analyst.

    The focus of the Right of Way Management Team is to review all work occurring around or across buried pipeline assets, ensuring compliance to all applicable regulatory and standards requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage all Third-Party Crossing (TPC) applications through a technology enabled process, including providing support through the Crossings email and Crossings "hot line"
    Assist third parties, particularly landowners, with registering their applications for proposed work within the regulated 30m prescribed area
    Review applications for completeness and accuracy, first stage triage, conduct analysis, quality control, identify and ensure all affected assets are included as part of the application
    Engage with third party applicants to resolve issues with their application request(s)
    Identify & direct applications to the appropriate internal technical SMEs for review and comment, including coordinating and incorporating all feedback
    Provide support to all key stakeholders; external applicants, regional technicians, internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
    Assist in drafting all required legal agreements for third party applications, incorporating SME feedback, helping to ensure risks are mitigated and company interests are protected
    Processing file administration, data inputting and reporting as required
    Contribute to a continuous improvement culture related to the TPC process and software system tools, which includes changes due to internal, legal and regulatory requirements
    Ability to perform the required duties independently, with little guidance

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Post-secondary education and/or Land Administration certificate program or Professional Land Management (PLM) certificate/diploma
    4 years of experience with processing third party requests
    Equivalent education and experience may be considered
    Must possess strong written and oral English communication skills
    Proven working knowledge of facility installations, including utilities, roads, pipelines and powerlines
    Working knowledge of Land related agreements
    Comprehensive understanding of Canada Energy Regulator, Alberta Energy Regulator and BC Oil and Gas Commission regulations regarding pipelines and damage prevention
    Working knowledge technical requirements as it relates to crossings and encroachments
    Strong analytical and interpretive skills and demonstrated problem solving skills using sound judgement with an aptitude for research
    Solid computer skills, ability to learn customized software in addition to SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite
    Strong Customer Service skills (this position interfaces daily with both internal and external stakeholders)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Minimum 4yrs of Surface Land Contract experience in addition to Third Party application experience
    French bilingual, both written and oral (role provides support Canada wide)
