Ginkgo Business Services is looking to Hire a full-time Bookkeeper for Monday to Friday.


As Bookkeeper, you will:


  • Maintaining budgets and records.
  • Preparing invoices for customers and external partners and keeping track of payments.
  • Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
  • Creating and updating expense reports.
  • Checking spreadsheets for accuracy.
  • Preparing financial statements.
  • Tracking and reconciling bank statements.
  • Processing annual tax filings.
  • Supporting payroll and keeping organized records.
  • Recording/maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Supporting operations and administrations department, as needed.
  • Participating in quarterly and annual audits.

Technical Experience Requirements:


  • Minimum postsecondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
  • 13 or + years of work experience in Accounting or Finance (e.g. experience in accounts payable, payroll, and financial analysis).
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel (creating spreadsheets using functions).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detailoriented perspective.
  • Proven mathematical skills.
  • Currently located and permitted to work in Canada
  • Able to commit to a fixed weekly schedule
  • Able to work independently, yet document all work performed

Pay:
$40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Montréal, QC: Relocate before starting work (required)
