We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Calgary and always are working on new partnerships.

We are presently seeking
Full-Time enthusiastic Office Manager to join our dynamic team.

Required Hours:
Monday to Friday 7am-3pm with some flexibility required

Compensation:
Starting at $20 per hour

Our Office Managers provide outstanding administrative support to patients and co-workers and keep the focus on patient-centered care.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and manage the administrative team
  • Involved with interviewing, hiring, and training a productive administrative office team
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop individual staff development as needed
  • Implement and monitor office policies and procedures while ensuring administrative staff understanding
  • Foster a positive culture & team environment
  • Maintain health and safety & privacy and security of the clinic
  • Ensure patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and develop process improvements to prevent recurrences
  • Promote excellent customer service by all levels of the staff
  • Maintain and account for weekly clinical metrics; collaborate with Clinic Director to strategize to improve and drive success of the clinic
  • Ensure efficient, professional, and organized operation of the clinic
  • Greet patients, staff, and visitors to the clinic in a professional and courteous manner
  • Initiate and organize patient files and assist patients through their schedule of appointments
  • Handle all front desk duties with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
  • Third Party, MVA, WCB, AHS and Private billing and collection
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Current enrollment or graduation from a college diploma program in a related field is an asset
  • Experience in clinic management of a physiotherapy or medical office environment an asset
  • Experience working with medical billing systems: Practice Perfect, MedAccess, or Wolf etc an asset
  • Alberta Health Care billing experience an asset
