    At First Student, a leading provider of school transportation in North America, we are seeking professional drivers to transport students safely and reliably. Our fleet of 21,000 buses carries approximately five million students daily across 39 states and 8 Canadian provinces.

    About the Position

    As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring student safety by following strict guidelines and protocols. You will also be required to maintain your vehicle through regular pre- and post-trip inspections, utilizing our industry-leading technology to guide you through your daily routes.

    Our drivers enjoy a competitive hourly rate, calculated from parking to parking, including all time in between. We guarantee a minimum of 4 hours per shift, with opportunities for additional hours on charter routes.

    Additional perks include the potential to drive preschool children (subject to conditions) and no nights or weekends. To succeed in this role, you must possess good verbal communication skills, be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license for at least 1 year, undergo a Ministry-prescribed medical examination, and pass background checks.
