Are you committed to protecting your community? Blackbird Security is seeking to hire
On-Call / Casual Security Guards in
Mission, BC for a variety of sites.

(Change if required)


What you will do

  • Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
  • Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
  • Complete incident reports for security purposes
  • Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
  • A Valid Security License
  • Flexible Availability
  • Previous security experience in a retail environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills'
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Willing to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift
  • Advanced Security Training authorization to carry handcuffs

Experience:

- security: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Security Guard Licence (required)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
