Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Support Specialist will be responsible of supporting technical sales representative in increasing sales and managing customers and Canadian Life Science expectations in their assigned territories as per annual growth targets.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations for customers based on customer price lists.
  • Assist sales representatives with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and managing paperwork.
  • Prospect and create new sales opportunities, generate leads, followup on leads generated by marketing and identify opportunities for repeat business.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns with targeted customers.
  • Respond to customers regarding account statuses, product information, delivery, etc.
  • Maintain Hubspot by continually updating customer information.
  • Provide monthly report on progress, provide data and guides to help the sales team.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customers issues, including returns, exchanges and complaints.
  • This position requires some availability outside normal working hours (ex: attending Sales Meetings).
  • Working with Director of Sales to assess accounts and propose yearly sales objectives for each product line and reviewing plans regularly throughout the year and adjust actions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:


Administrative Assistant, Sales or Marketing degree or relevant field from four-year College or University and 1-2 years sales support experience.
