Business Development Manager / Sales Manager (Industrial Markets), reporting to SVP Sales


Location:
Flexible.

Based in Canada or the United States with expectation of some travel to Langley, BC or Calgary, AB office locations.


Our in-house engineering team work collaboratively with our clients to select the best process and design a custom package to reliably meet their environmental, financial and quality standards requirements.

We also offer clients advanced in-house consultation, project management, engineering & design, 3D modeling and piloting services.

We have recently increased our production capabilities and are constantly adding new technologies to our portfolio of water and wastewater treatment solutions.

We are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to become a key member of the sales team.

The
Business Development Manager / Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our water and wastewater treatment capital equipment in various industrial markets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industrial end users, EPC's and other industrial market participants.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies and business plans to drive revenue growth for various industrial markets.
  • Manage the endtoend sales process for industrial markets from business development to project award, including collaborating with our engineering, project management, production, supply chain and executive teams.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with our technical and engineering teams on new product development, piloting and R&D projects.
  • Travel across North America, as required, to visit project sites, client or vendor facilities, tradeshows, etc

Requirements:


  • Minimum 15 years' experience selling water and wastewater treatment capital equipment in the industrial sector (CAD$5 to CAD$10 million annual sales or higher). Experience in the oil & gas, mining, food & beverage or other industrial sectors would be an asset.
  • Solid technical understanding of all major water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Knowledge of the various industry participants including business drivers, procurement/engineering cycles and organizational models.
  • Strong existing relationships with industrial end users, EPC's and other industrial market participants.
  • Experience in negotiating commercial contracts over CAD$5 million.
  • Hands on, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate effectively in fastpaced business environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • A degree in Engineering or Chemistry would be an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite and leading CRM software packages.
