Continuing Studies at Medicine Hat College is pleased to be able to work with Saamis Aboriginal
Employment & Training Association to deliver a twelve (12) week Certificate in Office Administration with specialty in Computerized Bookkeeping.

The program provides both theory and practice to help individuals seeking an entry-level administrative position associated within the Bookkeeping field.

The program is delivered virtually to students in Medicine Hat and Brooks.

A little about the role:

The primary workload will include delivery of virtual courses in Bookkeeping and Administration.

This position requires passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, comfortable using technology and teaching online.

Courses may include
Introduction to Bookkeeping, Sage 50, QuickBooks Online, MS Office software, Office Communications.

As a successful applicant you will have:

A degree in a related field is preferred
A Certificate / Diploma in a related field combined with professional qualifications and significant bookkeeping experience will also be considered
Teaching experience in online formats would be an asset
Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
A commitment to student success
