Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Transportation Planner, we'll count on you to:

Provide transportation planning services for transit, highway, municipal and provincial agencies
Provide support for corridor studies, forecast modelling, multimodal transportation analysis, transportation planning, and project issue tracking
Assimilate, manage, and Analyse data
Collect projectrelated data as needed, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, land use surveys, and socioeconomic analysis
Test future alternative transportation scenarios and network concepts
Prepare scenario mapping and networks for modelling
Prepare required documents such as process memoranda, corridor analyses, model validation. and other technical reports
Assist in preparation for and participate in stakeholder meetings, public information meetings and hearings
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or closely related field
Excellent communication and technical writing skills
MS Office, ArcGIS
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree
Experience with transportation planning concepts
Python, EMME or VISUM, Adobe Creative Suite
