We have an opening for an
Operations Analyst:your responsibilities will be to provide Mid-Office support to our facility
Centennial Villa.


Location: 15 Shoreham Ln Suite 101, Halifax, NS B3P 2R3


Position:
Permanent Full Time

  • Monday
  • Friday

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Quarterly & Year End Accruals
  • Y.E. Accrual Adjustments
  • Quarterly & Year End Reconciliations internally and for the Dept. of Seniors & Long-Term Care
  • Pension Reconciliation
  • T4 Preparation
  • Overseeing time & attendance software (SSC)
  • Overseeing Resident Billing & Resident Trust Account
  • Others as requested

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Excellent and proven computer skills combine with strong knowledge of software packages including SAGE, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to perform a variety of tasks within time limited deadlines.
  • Strong reading, verbal and written communication skills, organizational, problemsolving, conflict resolution skills required
  • High attention to detail and possesses
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in Long Term Care and/or Unionized environments are an asset, but not essential
