Internal Account Manager
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Summary:
To develop profitable sales of products and services through telephone solicitation of assigned accounts and successful prospecting and development of customers within targeted industries.
- Achieves planned sales and margins on an annual basis in accordance with established targets;
- Identifies opportunities for future growth through prospecting, qualifying and activating new accounts;
- Maintains Sales Force customer relationship management database for the District in a current and timely fashion;
- Builds and establishes effective customer relationships via various communication platforms;
- Develops market intelligence in focus industries and qualifies leads for Account Managers;
- Participates in other projects and tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager.
YOUR PROFILE:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or Business
- Previous business experience in a sales or customer related role (13 years)
- Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience/exposure with ERP business systems or Customer Relationship Management databases (CRM) would be considered an asset
- Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills
