    Salary: $22-25/hour

    OFA3/AFA staff provide medical care and emergency response for clients in the event of an injury, illness, or emergency, in accordance with Infinity Industrial Safety medical protocols and within the scope of practice.

    Purpose and Key Focus

    Responsibilities include the use of skills and expertise to provide emergency response, medical assessment, primary health care, injury prevention, and coordinate emergency medical evacuations as needed. You will exercise independence, judgment and initiative by logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems that arise on site.

    Job Summary

    OFA3/AFA personnel are an essential part of any operation on site. Staff provide medical care and emergency response for clients in the event of an injury, illness, or emergency, in accordance with Infinity Industrial Safety medical protocols and within the scope of practice. You will represent Infinity Industrial safety in a positive and professional manner and be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain cleanliness, inside and out, of all equipment
    • Adhere to Infinity Industrial Safety Services Ltd Safe Work Practices and Hazard ID Procedures
    • Sign in/out personnel on location
    • Fill out daily paperwork (Safety meeting, daily operation reports, hazard identification, service tickets, accident/incident if applicable)
    • Complete daily checklists for – AED, Medication Kit, Trauma and airway bags, oxygen bottles
    • Ensure phone and radio checks and daily contacts within the team are working
    • Attend daily site safety/toolbox and operations meetings
    • Assist in identifying any health hazards, near misses, and any work site hazards
    • Ability to travel areas for extended periods of time due to the remote worksite location

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of experience is preferred
    • Proof of Current OFA Level 3 Certificate
    • Valid Class 5 Drivers License & Current (within 3 months) Drivers Abstract
    • CSO
    • H2S WHIMIS (provided)
    • TDG (provided)
    • CSTS or PCST
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
