Job Title:
Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Administration, the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative duties, weekly/monthly bookkeeping and providing administrative support to the team.

This individual will have excellent organizational and time-management skills, be a self-starter, and have experience using Microsoft 365. Attention to detail is a must.

The duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • General administrative duties
  • Organize and schedule meetings
  • Attend meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Assist the Program Manager with KPI reporting
  • Manage and track all office equipment
  • Bank reconciliations weekly
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts Payable/Expense report processing
  • Provide monthend reports for finance
  • Adhoc administrative or bookkeeping duties as required

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration or related experience
  • 13 years related accounting and administrative experience
  • Knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Wellorganized and able to multitask
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, and able to work independently

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package and RRSP matching. A typical workweek is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
