Bilingual Career Counsellor

Montreal, QC (downtown)

Permanent, Part time (19 hours)

The opportunity

Help clients assess their strengths at work, provide them with a framework for resolving career planning issues and advise them on effective job search strategies so they can establish realistic career goals.

Service is offered in-person and over the phone.

What you will do

Provide career counselling or employment counseling over the phone and inperson;
Administer orientation tests and interpret the results to explore career path;
Provide a structure for clients to selfassess;
Guide clients through the steps and the choice of effective strategies to adopt to achieve their professional goals
Perform the administrative tasks required in connection with the assigned cases.

Who we are looking for

Master's degree career counselling, guidance or related field;
Member in good standing of the Order of career counsellors of Quebec;
Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory;
3 years of postmaster's experience in the career counselling field;
Experience working with an adult population;
Experience administering and interpreting professional aptitude assessment tools (Level B).
