specializes in rock drilling, controlled blasting, slope stabilization, shoring, and more The company is based out of Kelowna, BC, and mainly operates throughout the Okanagan Valley.

T&A is currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper who is able to work 3 days per week, 8 hour days.


Duties:

• Manage and maintain financial records and transactions
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and uptodate
• Utilize accounting software (Quikbooks) to record and track financial transactions
• Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience (construction, mining, heavy machinery, etc.)
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role (minimum 5 years experience)
• QuickBooks Desktop & Online (minimum 2 years experience)
• Strong knowledge of account analysis and reconciliation
• Familiarity with budgeting principles and practices
• Experience with payroll processing and tax regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Education/Training:

• Training or accredited certification in bookkeeping
• BBA is considered an asset
