JOB SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES

Staff Leadership:_
- Supervise and train front desk staff.
- Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Create a positive and motivated work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
Guest Services:_
- Ensure exceptional guest service by setting and maintaining high service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively.
- Monitor guest feedback and take proactive steps to address concerns and improve service quality.
Reservations and Check-In/Check-Out:_
- Oversee the reservation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage room assignments and ensure rooms are properly prepared for guest arrivals.
- Facilitate smooth checkin and checkout processes, including handling payments and issuing room keys.
Operations Management:_
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and occupancy levels.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are clean and wellmaintained.
- Monitor and control room inventory to maximize revenue.
Training and Development:_
- Conduct training sessions for front desk staff on guest service, hotel procedures, and technology usage.
- Keep the team updated on industry trends, hotel promotions, and events.
Communication:_
- Foster effective communication between front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments.
- Communicate with upper management regarding operational updates, challenges, and successes.
Budget and Reporting:_
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures for the front desk department.
- Generate reports on occupancy, revenue, and other relevant metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in hotel front desk management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Customerfocused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).

From $50,000.00 per year
