- Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Must be compliant with College of Nurses quality assurance standards
- Current B.C.L.S Certification essential, on hire
- Minimum 2 years current Emergency/Acute care related nursing
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (A.C.L.S.)
- Current Advanced Pediatric Life Support (P.A.L.S)
- Proven ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment

- Current Trauma Nursing Critical Care Core Course (T.N.C.C.)
- Coronary Care - Level 1
- Coronary Care - Level 2
- Certified in phlebotomy starts
- NVCI or equivalent
Assets: - Bilingual - English and French
- Canadian Triage & Acuity Scale Certification (CTAS)
- Emergency or Critical Care Certification
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Advanced training in Physical assessment
- Wound and burn care
- Neuro Care
- P.C.A pumps
