What will you do?

Manage and administer Enterprise Data Lake and related ecosystem technologies
Passionate about learning Amazon Web Services, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
Provide solutions and take preventative steps while resolving operational problems
Maintain uptodate documentation and procedures for all supported database platforms
Collaborate with Team, Database Administrators and Developers to understand and document requirements
Follow Change Management Process and support project development within documented standards
Define, document, and implement consistent standards and procedures
Contribute innovative solutions and best practice improvements

What You Need to Succeed?

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Proactive initiative, curiosity, and conscientiousness to drive continuous improvement
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project objectives
Leadership ability to lead small to medium project teams and inspire others.
Proficiency in Linux for efficient system management
Handson experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Bash/PowerShell experience for automation and scripting tasks
Demonstrated experience with EDL and related technologies
Experience with AWS services such as EMR, EC2, Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, IAM, S3, Privacera / Ranger (or equivalent tools on other cloud platforms)
Nice to have, background with Ansible and Terraform experience for automation
Nice to have, working with intake queues, Confluence JIRA Cloud, ServiceNow
Knowledge of network services, Active Directory, Linux user and group administration

Unique Requirements

Ability to receive Security clearance is required for this role [minimum of 5 consecutive years of residency in Canada.]
