ICBC(auto insurance), home and commercial insurance broker, customer service rep.
No experience to 1-2, or more experience, all accepted More languages spoken would be an asset Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and more Computer skills, working efficiently, cohesively with the team will be an asset.
Insurance Level 1 or 2 license would be an asset, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and receive visitors as they come
- Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home, auto and/or commercial insurance policy.
- Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
- Seizes all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers
- Quote new clients by using Broker Management Software or Insurer Applications.
- Keep up with any insurance licensing requirements with instructions and guidelines from supervisor
- Manage Incoming and Outgoing Mail and Courier
- Scan and File Documents
- Prepare New Business and Renewal Letters
- Mail out Policy Documents to the Insured
- Distribute and Triage Faxes
- Update Customer and Policy Data in BMS
- Prepare Home and Auto Quotes in Applied Rater
- Process Endorsements in BMS and Send Requests to Insurance Companies.
- Reviewing and Recommending Ways to improve overall office administration
- Any other office administration tasks as required
