How You'll Make anImpact

  • Build and lead a team of probabilistic modeling specialists to develop solutions for reliabilitydriven decision making in the design and operation of plant components
  • Ensure high quality of the developed methods and tools by defining standards and introducing industry accepted tools and methodologies
  • Support the internal competence buildup and rollout of probabilistic methods through technical training programs, knowhow sharing, and regular communication
  • Actively follow and evaluate new technologies/methods in the field of reliabilitybased modelling learning to leverage new solutions and understand latest trends
  • Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and partners from industry and engage in thought leadership
  • Present methodologies, procedures, and project results to senior stakeholders across different functions

What You Bring

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Exceptional leadership skills and at least 2+ years of experience as a team lead, ideally in an industry environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and deep expertise in physical simulations, reliability modeling, failure analysis, and materials modeling
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Python, R, and a good understanding of numerical and optimization methods
  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, openminded and willing to learn
  • Ability to navigate easily in a multidisciplinary, multinational, global team including external partners
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic about data and analytics and driving the use of data across all parts of a business and ecosystem
