HRIS Analyst (15-month Contract)
Tremco is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join the Human Resources team on temporary basis.

The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst provides analytical and technical support to the Human Resources department related to HR systems.

This includes maintaining quality and consistency of HRIS database information; ensuring personnel actions are in compliance with current Human Resources policies and guidelines; providing technical support to Human Resources as well as employees and managers.


The role is mostly remote, but the incumbent will be required to visit our office in mid-town Toronto approximately once a month.


Responsibilities

Oracle Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

  • System maintenance and support: Oracle HCM Cloud HR Core, Benefits, ORC, Talent, Performance, Compensation and analytics & reporting
  • Perform functional configuration and troubleshooting
  • Audit all employee data in Oracle to ensure data is consistent, accurate and up to date
  • Create and maintain requirement, config. documentation, knowledge articles, etc. assisting internal users in system adoption.
  • Monitor and respond to enduser requests regarding system complications or malfunctions
  • Correspond with shared services or divisional HR team regarding new or requested system configuration
  • Manage mass data input during large changes, including but not limited to restructures, acquisitions, and annual compensation reviews
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and if required work with thirdparty integration vendor
  • Enter all new hires, employee changes, and terminations in Oracle HRIS

Coordination of Employee Terminations

  • Process termination notifications and send termination letters
  • Ensure the termination process is well documented and communicated to all HR members in all Divisional teams to ensure process remains compliant and timely. Report any issues of lateness to department.

Other Systems

  • Responsible for adding and maintain new HR content and keeping Tremco HR SharePoint site or digital board up to date
  • Maintain Microsoft flow and trouble shoot error when required.
  • Analyze and audit the data integrity between Oracle and Dayforce

Other HR Support:


  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for the assigned areas as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; Areas will include but are not limited to, performance management, compensation, employee relations, training, and compliance.
  • Organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires into the company
  • Prepares and conducts general training courses as required.
  • Monitor HR inboxes and respond to or route inquiries to the appropriate person; ensure follow up on all questions and work to resolve issues
  • May assist with employee relations as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, human resources, or related field with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in HR capacity with HRIS background including systems administration.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle or similar enterprise
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis
  • Advance skills with Excel, Word, SharePoint
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM OTBI Publisher report writing.
  • Understanding and proficient use of qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
  • Demonstrated use of effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train end users.
  • An understanding of what is going on within Human Resources including experience in employee movement data capture (onboarding, job changes, exiting) and HR record creation, maintenance, and retention.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
