In your day to day:


  • Enter order confirmations
  • Assist the purchasing department by placing orders
  • Follow up on overdue orders and, when necessary, improve delivery dates to respect planning
  • Participate in the supplier evaluation process
  • Followup and transact returns, exchanges and credit requests with suppliers.
  • Analyze delivery times, Safety Stock and Reorder Points.
  • Provide forecasts to suppliers
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required by the Department Manager or Operations Director.

Our future colleague has what it takes:

  • Diploma in procurement (ASSET)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with hundreds of components
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (including intermediateadvanced Excel) and ERP systems
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers in Canada and the U.S.
  • Able to express ideas clearly, orally or in writing
  • Organized, efficient work methods
  • Good judgment, versatility, leadership and autonomy
  • Ability to cope with and adapt to change
  • Performs well under pressure given supply chain challenges
