Your Opportunity:


Reporting to Area Manager, and under the direction of the Lead Admin, this position supports various professionals including Clinical Supervisors, Mental Health Therapists, Addiction Counselors, Registered Nurses, Recovery Workers, Nurse Practitioner and LPN in supporting our vulnerable and homeless communities and other areas as needed.

The incumbent must be able to perform administrative functions of moderate complexity and with a high degree of independence.

The incumbent must be able to professionally and sensitively handle all interactions with clients, their families, as well as the general public.

This position is in the process of being updated to include more than 1 work location.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000.

This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced computer training (MS Office Suite), advanced keyboarding skills. 2-3 years in an office setting. Experience working with people and dealing with confidential and sensitive information.


Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid/CPR/NVCI. Medical terminology, communication and crisis intervention training provided. Database Knowledge. Connect Care system training. Experience working with people in crisis. Requires recent 2 years of mental health & addiction experience. Connect Care
