Receptionist - Vaughan, Canada - Force Capital Agency
Description
Our Client in Woodbridge is looking for a receptionist who is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner.
You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).-
Shift time:_ _8:30 am to 5 pm_
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Act as first point of contact for visitors
- Setting up tables, greeting guests, etc. at company events
- Coordinates the booking and setting up of meeting rooms
- Organizes and files company documents either electronically or with a paper filing system
- Provides support for teams when necessary
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Respond to inquiries; rectify concerns and issues, reporting as appropriate to management
Qualifications
- Postsecondary education or directly relevant experience
- 3+ year's previous experience with administrative work, customer service.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills Both verbal and written
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent prioritization skills Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to act with discretion, patience and diplomacy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Effective team player

Job Types:

Salary:
$37,625.00-$39,670.00 per year
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
