Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the brand strategic planning process, including the development and execution of tactical plan across the broader marketing team.

Assist with the development and implementation of marketing communication programs across all elements of the communications mix.

Lead the development and deployment of direct to patient initiatives (patient activation campaigns).

Support the on boarding with product knowledge transfer for new employees

Drive pre-launch and launch preparations where appropriate.

Support on key pricing strategies for RFP and Pricing requests.


Analyze, interpret and report market data and trends to assist with the deployment of specific actions to maximize business opportunities and minimize potential threats.

Provide data, information and support to the sales team, enabling competitive advantages to be realized on a regional basis.

Provide support to demand planning in forecasting products.

Distributor management as required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • A University degree with emphasis in science and/or business (MBA considered an asset)
  • 5+ years of marketing experience where they have worked in or led a crossfunctional team
  • Prior experience working with medical devices in Sales, Marketing and/or Medical Education
  • An understanding of the use of CRM databases for marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Someone prepared to take the initiative and able to work without constant supervision
  • Results driven, innovative, assertive, strategic thinker, strong project management skills
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 20% of the time to support key education initiatives, and to attend diabetes conference and trade shows
  • Bilingual: French/English an asset
