Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team of production staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is vital in maintaining high-quality production standards, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure safety protocols are followed and enforce compliance with company policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records, report on key performance indicators, and analyze data to identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production flow.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high morale.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production supervision, with a strong understanding of industrial processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills for clear instruction and collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and utilize manufacturing software systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,000.00 per year
