Service Advisor


Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team at Morrey Nissan of Coquitlam. The Service Advisor will be the main point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance, repairs, or other services.

This role involves effectively communicating with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, providing accurate cost estimates, and coordinating service appointments with our skilled technicians.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers and listen to their vehiclerelated concerns.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify issues and discuss findings with customers.
  • Provide accurate and transparent cost estimates for repairs and services.
  • Explain recommended repairs and services to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on progress and any changes.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are carried out according to schedule and quality standards.
  • Upsell additional services that align with customers' vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a service advisor, automotive technician, or in a related customer service role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customerfocused approach with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with computerized service management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and sometimes highpressure environment.
  • Problemsolving skills to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns.

Salary:
$34,909.64-$82,529.27 per year
