Candadite will be an engaged and driven individual, able to lead and motivate a team of technical and non-technical Business Analysts within the Finance Project Management Office (PMO).
You will be a critical contributor in our pursuit of Delivery Excellence and champion the vision of Governance & Assurance as a standout enabling function.
What you will do:
- Team Leadership: _
- Be accountable for directly leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of Business Analysts to successfully deliver highquality investments contributing to business objectives & KPIs
- Develop and maintain a Business Analyst resourcing plan to align resources to the needs of projects in all portfolios
- Promote and nurture a proactive, continuous improvement and transformation culture across Finance which embraces change as an opportunity for providing PMO services that encourage innovation within the business
- Be empowering and coaching team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
- Conduct onboarding and continual training of team members to maximize their potential
- Guide aspiring Business Analysts outside the PMO team to build the business's Business Analyst skillset
- Maintain a resource pool to meet the current and future needs of the Finance portfolio of projects, balancing utilization, workload, and cultural fit
- Project Governance:_
- Develop, document, and embed the business analyst practice, roles, and responsibilities into the overall Project Delivery Lifecycle
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration, and management of best practices to define achievable outcomes for projects
- Be accountable for the oversight and quality of requirements across projects and programs within the PMOs portfolio of projects
- Participate in (and lead if required) the monthly Finance PMO Governance Board meetings to define the processes the PMO will use in the delivery of projects
- Work collaboratively to assist in the design and implementation of analysis to answer challenging business questions
- Reporting & Analytics:_
- Take part in the definition and development of reports and dashboards for projects, programs and portfolios that will promote resultsdriven decision making and provide insight into the performance of the services provided by the PMO
- Support project and executive reporting needs of the PMO, developing multilevel presentations as needed
- Take part in defining the PMO Metrics for Success and be an active participant in achieving defined KPIs
- Actively monitor project quality and develop corrective action plans with project teams
What you will bring:
- 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
- 4+ years' leadership experience, either directly or indirectly managing a team of professionals
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBA, PMI-PBA, CCBA, CBAP, IIBA-AAC) desired
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business, or Management of Information Systems required
- Experience with requirement management systems (MS Visio/PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planisware, Planview, Jira, Trello, Rational Requisite Pro, Wrike etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with and strong ability to lead and influence stakeholders across different levels
- Excellent problemsolving, quantitative, and analytical abilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to embrace, adapt and drive change
- Excellent facilitation and consultancy skills
- Ability to work selfguided in an adaptable environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
