Description
We are looking for someone to
create and
implement a plan to
optimize our warehouse storage. This person will be responsible for the warehouse operating at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring and managing operational goals

Must be proficient in using Barcode/RFID Technology. As well as proficient in Inventory management software, Odoo is preferred

  • Pallet unique identification code
  • Racking unique address
  • Pallet location optimization
  • Implementation of the use of bar code scanners

Keys Responsibilities

Inventory Placement Strategization: prioritizing accessibility based on turnover rates and demand

Collaborate with other team members: Working closely with the sales team, inventory management and shipper and receiver

Technology Implementation:Implement the use of bar code scanners

Continuous Improvement:Regularly reviewing warehouse operations and space utilization to identify opportunities for further optimization and efficiency gains.

Inspections: Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention

Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.


Required Skills:

-
Problem solving: evaluate warehouse processes, space usage, and develop optimatzion strategies

Technical Knowledge: understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles and familiarity with spreadsheets and related technology and software
-
Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including planning, executing, and monitoring space optimization initiatives.
-
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with various teams and stakeholders within the organization.

  • Experience: 3 or more years experience in a warehouse role managing employees
  • Ability to deliver feedback in both written and verbal formats

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Associate's degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management
  • Proficiency with SCM+ for warehouses
  • License to operate a forklift
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language

Other notes

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm, in person
  • Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Pay:
From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
