    New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Change and Communications Lead to help our client transition from their existing and separate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) solutions to a new single Integrated interRAI Reporting System solution. This position is a key member of the project team working to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and meeting the required quality levels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
    • Leverage a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
    • Assess the change impact.
    • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
    • Work with Project Leadership and all relevant stakeholder teams to identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
    • Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.
    • Develop an engagement strategy, plan and schedule to support application training and deployment activities.
    • Liaise with Communications, Business & Clinical Working Groups, governance and site sponsors to design, develop, delivery and manage key communications.
    • Support the communication efforts.
    • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
    • Support training efforts.
    • Support other Change Analyst(s) and testers.
    • Consult and coach project teams.
    • Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups.
    • Lead, inform and develop use cases as well as design, develop and implement new processes, systems and enhancements.
    • Oversee and complete business/clinical/technical analysis and process re-engineering activities as well as identifying gaps, risks and opportunities.
    • Facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials).
    • Produce presentation and training materials, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of experience with large complex IT projects.
    • 1+ years of experience working in healthcare as a Change Lead.
    • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (or higher).
    • Certified Scrum Master.
    • Experience as the lead change and communication person with a project/program team.
    • Working knowledge of clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, clinical policies, clinical standards within Canada.
    • Demonstrable experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Demonstrable experience leading and developing the change and communication strategy for a project/program.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with audiences at all levels.
    • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing clinical and business change management strategies and communications plans.
    • Exceptional active listening skills.
    • Exceptional ability to develop and deliver clear messages for complex topics to a variety of audiences at all levels.
    • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain strong and professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
    • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to develop well considered, logical, and justifiable options.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and real-world best practices.
    • Exceptional skills in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Valid (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Managed (CAPM) certification.

    The hourly rate range for this position is $70 - $100, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
