The Maintenance worker will ensure the propagation equipment, planting line, sticking line and general facility equipment are in good operating condition by performing preventative and daily maintenance.

• Perform preventative maintenance at both the Beamsville and Vineland locations
• Execute preventative maintenance on conveyors, compressors, automatic doors, irrigation/plumbing, greenhouse lighting, generators, mobile equipment, and other motorized equipment
• Routine inspections of facilities and equipment
• Perform various cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness standards of the facilities are met
• Perform general and service maintenance as required
• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance calls at various times
• Participate in oncall rotation
• Notify Maintenance Supervisor when maintenancerelated issues arise
• Assist in the organization of spare parts, tools and other materials
• Operate machinery such as a forklift, floor sweeper, etc. (training provided as necessary)
• Support other production departments as needed
• Ability to work independently in /greenhouse environments
• Other duties as prescribed.

• Successful completion of postsecondary education and 12 years of workrelated experience
• General understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation to carry out general warehouse maintenance
• Good coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs.), bend, stand, and kneel for long periods of time
• Capacity to operate machinery, hand or power tools, in a safe, efficient, manner
• Fluent in English language
• Valid G driver's license
• General knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to work in a team environment and be a strong team player with all employees
