Production Labourer - Silhouette Enclosures
Wage:
$18.00 to $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Summary
Silhouette Enclosures is a premier industrial contractor specializing in the design, fabrication, assembly, installation and finishing of custom enclosures marketed worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions from Supervisor as required.
- Follow the company safety program rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Inspect tools and work area for hazards before commencing work.
- Perform cleaning functions throughout the fabrication shop.
- Perform cleaning on weldments and materials using a grinder.
- Transport materials using a forklift and/or overhead crane. (Upon Certification)
- Load and unload transport vehicles as required
- Assist welders, fabricators, shipper/receiver, painters, and finishers as required.
- Sort materials and organize shop and yard.
- Cut materials to specified dimensions using a band saw.
- Drill materials to specified dimensions using a drill press.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications:
- 05 years' experience in Metal Fabrication or related industries
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Capable of doing physical tasks and work (ability to lift and move 5075lbs)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to provide a current Police or RCMP Criminal Record Check
Preferred Experience (not required):
- Ability to read a tape measure (metric/imperial)
- Previous fabrication experience
- Metal building assembly experience
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Band saw experience
- Drill Press/Mag Drill experience
- Forklift experience
- Crane Experience
- Mechanical experience
- Previous finishing experience (drywall, insulation, caulking and riveting

Shifts:
Silhouette is pleased to offer a variety of shift options to allow employees to maintain personal and family life.
- Days Monday-Thursday 6:30 am 4:30 pm
- Afternoons Monday-Thursday 3:30pm1:30 am
- Weekends Fri-Sunday (3 x 12 hour shifts)
- Shift Differential for afternoon and weekend shifts
