- The coordinator, working within a matrix team, is responsible for coordinating operational and data development activities related to the products and services provided by the pharmaceuticals departments. Under the direction of the pharmaceutical program leads and managers, the coordinator provides support for internal and external committees/meetings and works closely with the pharmaceuticals team supporting basic operational functions and data quality initiatives.
- What you'll do
- 1.
development, interdepartmental collaboration, report generation, translations, publications, web maintenance, communication and distribution.
- 2. Develops and maintains project plans for various products, following up on workflow to ensure timelines are met, and proactively monitors timeline and provides regular status updates and communication plans to the program leads and managers to ensure timelines and deliverables are on track.
- 3. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely production, release and dissemination of reports and other products. This includes managing stakeholder lists, supporting clients' inquiries, and contributing to quality assurance activities.
- 4. Contributes to the development and production of products and services by the pharmaceuticals departments such as digital reports, methodology notes, publications and compiling data for data requests.
- 5. Coordinates timely approvals and signoff of relevant program deliverables and related documentation.
- 6. Provides support to the program leads and managers in operational plan and budget preparation and coordinates development of monthly departmental status reports.
- 7. Supports the pharmaceuticals mailbox and the program leads with the coordination of resources for requests, as required.
- 8. Supports data quality initiatives related to pharmaceuticals including fact checking, literature review, and report writing.

- 9. Maintains knowledge of the pharmaceuticals data holdings and supports the maintenance of departmental process documentation.
- 10. Assumes responsibilities for other related duties as assigned by the program leads and/or managers.
- What you'll bring to the table
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in health information, social sciences, business administration, or communications (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 13 years' experience working with project coordination and management with a focus on the production of analytic reports and products in health care.
- Strong project management related experience in a health organization. Demonstrates ability to handle multiple project priorities at once and reprioritize work as priorities change.
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, activities and priorities.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong conceptual and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to comprehend quantitative health information and demonstrated conceptual knowledge of health, health determinants and the Canadian health care system are considered assets.
- Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
