POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Ensures quality service to all guests with emphasis on cleanliness, efficiency,
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage department ensuring that all service requirements are exceeded.
- Assist in attaining the company goals of exceeding our guests' expectations while maximizing revenue potential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Experience & Service
- Ensure each guest receives quality service and product consistently in the Ironwood Restaurant.
- Be organized and maintain a positive attitude.
- Team and customer oriented, work effectively with other team members in all departments.
- Ensure all items are stocked, dining room is clean and ready for guests at all times.
- Sales
- POS operation, cash control, complete cash reports accurately and efficiently.
- Provide courteous, efficient service while maximizing sales through up selling & promoting features and specials.
- Menu knowledge.
- Expectations
- Arrive to work 5 minutes prior to scheduled time, dressed in the provided uniform and adhering to the dress code.
- Become knowledgeable and able to answer basic questions about the property, the restaurant, our services and the company.
- Health & Safety
- Ensure that all service areas are clean, sanitized, organized and free of any debris & clutter.
- Adheres to the safety policies in place for team members, as well as members and guest of the club.
- Knowledge
- Experience in a food and beverage service role.
- Banquet experience an asset.
- Possess a working knowledge of POS Systems.
- Must have Serving It Right Certificate.
- Background experience in the golf industry is an asset.
- Technical Skills & Abilities
- High level of organizational skills, decision making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, strong comprehension of English language (written/oral.)
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, with good organizational skills.
WORK CHARACTERISTICS
- Must be a Team player.
- Learn all individual menu items, alcoholic, nonalcoholic and food ingredients, methods of mixing or cooking, prep time, accompaniments (if applicable) and prices after taxes.
- Serves food and beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) with the strictest adherence to all BC LCLB rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Will be required to work on a shift basis, including weekends, evenings and holidays when necessary.
- Capable of completing all opening and closing duties
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary:
$15.65-$16.65 per hour
