Responsibilities:


  • Proven 10+ years sales experience in related field and leading team of experienced sales professionals.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian electrical industry. Ability to identify and capture macro trends in power needs and electrification.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, drive and monitor strategic plans and initiatives with track record of success in sales growth.
  • Build and strengthen relations at all levels within our business units whose products, solutions, and services we sell. Ability to understand our complete portfolio of products and solutions.
  • Willingness to think outside the box to deliver results. Collaboration with business units to deliver results with knowledge of factory capabilities and strengths.
  • Develop new strategies to support changing market needs and demonstrate how they can further develop and grow Hitachi digital and service products and solutions
  • Drive towards continued improvement of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Ability to mentor, energize and ensure development of sales team
  • Drive collaboration and support for our external distribution channel and manufacturing representative partners to achieve sales growth for open accounts not supported by their direct sales team. This will involve all training efforts to enable partners to be effective sales partners.
  • Meet deadlines, strength in contract and managerial experience, and sound base for commercial discussions is a requirement.
  • Ability to engage customers at all levels including executive, middle management, technical & commercial levels for accounts in region.
  • Set sales, product, and development plans with all Business units for the region
  • Develop sales plan to utilize direct resources and sales agents to best cover the market opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, an MBA is a plus
  • Experience in electrical industry with proven success in ability to engage customers at both technical and commercial levels of discussion.
