Job Description:

Lead our Benefits Administration Solutions team as it delivers a market-leading service experience for our plan sponsors and their members


Key areas of responsibility:

  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer experience and high performance
  • Develop and facilitate relationships with our customers and participate in client meetings
  • Act as point of contact on significant problems and concerns
  • Bring forward business development opportunities in partnership with other Group Customer functions
  • Assist in creating a road map for business planning and allocating appropriate resources
  • Champion highest level of quality for the services we deliver and develop performance objectives
  • Identify system updates and automations, collaborate with partners in enhancements or new tool upgrades
  • Make recommendations and sponsor departmental initiatives that include reviewing and implementing changes in current policy and procedures
  • Design attractive roles with natural career path opportunities for team members
In addition, the Benefits Administration Solutions Associate Manager will:

  • Foster an environment that encourages new approaches, challenges the status quo and inspires creativity
  • Understand how Plan Sponsor can further strategic goals and vision for the Group Customer organization
  • Attract, motivate and develop talent to meet strategic direction and tomorrow's needs
  • Drive results and contribute to change processes that improve organizational performance and create a culture of accountability
  • Demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong commitment to success
  • Demonstrate innovative and visionary thinking and a willingness to bring new concepts or approaches to market

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years in a leadership position coupled with 5+ years of experience in Group Insurance specifically Benefits Administration knowledge would be an asset
  • Crossfunctional knowledge; strong understanding of employee benefits market and its dynamics (trends, legislation, competitive environment)
  • Understand our business environment and customer needs, identify business opportunities that create a competitive advantage, anticipate key trends
  • Call centre benefit plan administration management is an asset
  • Proven success in designing and delivering a bestinclass customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, engage and motivate team members to providing highquality service
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
