CHILD AND YOUTH WORKER, PSW & SOCIAL SERVICE WORKER -

Pinnacle Community Services offers services and support to children, youth and adults who experience psychological, developmental, or behavioral challenges.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for MALE CYWs and SSW who are reliable, committed and able to work in a Supportive Housing


DUTIES:

• Serves as a Child and Youth Worker and maintains control of and accounts for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities that meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs for program participants
• Participates as part of the treatment team, assisting in implementing the client's care plans, including communicating any key issues to the Program Coordinator or designate
• Complete documentation and reports as required
• Provides support in the daytoday operations of the facility as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Service Worker and a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current certificate in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED level C
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), as well as the ability to use office equipment efficiently
• UMAB Training

REQUIREMENTS:

• Vulnerable Sector Check (can be organized upon hire)
• Be able to work flexible hours including
  mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends:
• 
  Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle

It is important to abide by the facilities COVID-19 guidelines while on shift such as, wearing a face mask and shield during work hours, completing daily screening, pre shift antigen testing (tests can be provided)


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 8-40 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
