FINANCIAL ANALYST
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented _Financial Analyst_ to join our Business Intelligence team.

As a _Financial Analyst,_ you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to guide business decisions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and transform data into meaningful reports and visualizations that drive actionable insights.

Brampton, ON or Mississauga, ON
Fulltime, permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with various teams to identify data sources and collect relevant data.
Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and suitability for analysis.
Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data to support business objectives.
Perform exploratory data analysis to discover hidden insights.
Develop clear and informative dashboards, charts, and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
Create recurring reports and automate data visualization processes where possible.
Translate data into understandable insights that drive decisionmaking.
Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and provide datadriven recommendations.
Monitor and ensure data quality and accuracy through regular validation procedures.
Identify and address data discrepancies or anomalies.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including business analysts, managers, and data scientists, to understand requirements and provide analytical support.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Proactively suggest process improvements and ways to enhance data analysis efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Economics or Commerce; Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or Data Science experience is a plus.
Experience with data visualization tool Power BI.
Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills with an attention to detail and a strong sense of data accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to convey findings in a clear and understandable manner.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling is a plus.
Experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry is an asset.
