This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform wound dressings, and other wound care procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the nursing and coordinator team to ensure effective coordination and continuity of care.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on wound care techniques and advancements.
- Monitor and evaluate wound care outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of wound care policies and procedures.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of clients assessments, treatments, and progress.
Requirements:
- Current LPN registration with the BCCNM.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proven experience and expertise in wound care management.
- Knowledge of wound care techniques, dressing materials, and evidencebased practices.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patientcentered approach to healthcare.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. (required)
- Reliable transportation to travel to different patient locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certification in wound care.
- Previous experience working in a wound care clinic or specialized wound care setting.
These requirements ensure that the Clinical Nursing Supervisor has the necessary qualifications and attributes to effectively lead a team, provide high-quality care, and contribute to the development of services within the homecare agency.
