Qualifications & experience

  • General Mechanical Aptitude is an asset.
  • Displayed experience in technical aviation component MRO work is preferred but not essential.
  • Commercial aviation experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • General Computer Knowledge is an asset.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Complete all Maintenance, Repair or Overhaul work on components in accordance with technical documents and company procedures.
  • Attain and maintain competency in the operation and upkeep of all workshop test equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, regulatory and manufacturers' procedures.
  • Process and complete all maintenance records and reports.
  • Complete inhouse training requirements
  • Ensure awareness and comply with PAI-C Quality systems in place
  • Undertake the process to induct and create shop work orders for units upon arrival at PAI-C
  • Carry out required logistics processes to ensure material requirements are met for the workshop activities, including:
  • Process parts that are required to be sent out for rework
  • Tracking required material, and setting planned arrival dates in the ERP
  • Receiving parts into the PAI shop warehouse, using the ERP
  • Pick and Issue parts to required work orders when ready
  • Updating Shop Manager (PRM) on current requirements to assist with resource allocation
  • Work with Shop Manager (PRM) to provide formal support where required in response to technical or warranty queries.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)
