Supply Chain Coordinator - Vaughan, Canada - Proactive Supply Chain Group
Description
PURPOSE:
You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the relationships between our company and its clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively providing solutions to meet their logístical needs.
Duties include but not limited to:
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Send shipping updates, along with required paperwork, to the customer and receivers.
- Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work and other warehousing information.
- Verify and help fix any issues in shipping documentation such as BOL, Receiving Record etc.
- Monitor inventory to meet the targeted shipping plans.
- Communicate regularly with different departments to coordinate activities between warehouses and trucking.
- Entering, updating, and processing customer orders on various interfaces.
- Accurately enter data and create various reports for internal / external use.
- Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
- Coordinate with billing to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager.
- Wellversed in supply management principles and practices.
- Shift: 12 pm 8 pm
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
1+ years with previous logistics and customer service experience is an asset
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
LANGUAGE:
English
COMPUTER:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office, Outlook
PERSONAL:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customercentric approach.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and the capability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data entry.
- Basic knowledge of logistics concepts, including shipping, transportation modes, and warehousing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced industry
