Position Summary:
You are a highly seasoned operations management professional that is well versed in development of operations strategy, lean manufacturing, and in running day to day operations of high-volume production facilities.
Your strong industrial, process, or chemical engineering background has educated you on best in class production processes, and you're comfortable working with and managing large teams, and communicating with all layers of the organization.
You will work closely with the production team, Plant Manager, and VP of Operations & Sales to manage and optimize the operations of Colourific's production facility.

Advising management when aware of contraventions of Health and Safety
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise production leaders and team
Play a key role in the hiring, training, and performance management of production team members
Monitor the performance of the production line and provide daily feedback to the management team
Active participation in daily and weekly production meetings
Leverage continuous improvement experience towards production processes
Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving for delivery and removal of customer product to and from the facility
Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving and Material Handlers for delivery and removal of product to and from the line
Communicate with the Plant Manager to ensure right headcount in all functions depending on line requirements
Pre-emptively prepare line racking for next day of production; move racking into dedicated area and burn-off racking as necessary
Get familiar with loading methods for the various part profiles
Compare work orders with product delivered to ensure proper paperwork
Work closely with the Plant Manager, First Loader and Lead Loader to ensure materials are being loaded on the line in accordance with best practices and with optimal line density
Monitor and adjust line metrics including oven temperatures, line speed, and chemicals
Review customer product drawings for proper loading instructions
Communicate loading instructions to loaders
Monitor customer materials for defects / damage, communicate any issues to the quality team and Plant Manager immediately
Communicate daily production schedule to production and shipping / receiving teams
Ensure regular burn-off and maintenance of loading racks
Requirements:
10+ years of plant operations or production experience
5+ years of plant operations or production leadership experience

$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
