Description

Position Scope

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise and collect operational information based on progress updates for the Production Team
  • Read drawings and use AutoCAD to make flat patterns for lasercut machines or waterjet machines
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of production materials and parts.
  • Assist in the tracking, quality control, and storage of production parts sourced locally and abroad
  • Ensure equipment and worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
  • Abide by the requirements of WorkSafeBC and the safety manual/procedures
  • Fulfill other manufacturingrelated duties as required from time to time

Qualifications & Abilities

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of laser cutting experience preferred
  • Punctual, strong and reliable work ethics
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting
  • Possess a positive cando attitude and a great team player
  • Experience is an asset, however, full training will be provided
