Job Description:

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

The incumbent will work directly with a pediatric neurologist and a pediatric neurosurgeon on a number of projects related to developmental brain malformations, brain tumors, and epilepsy.

General Duties

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing and maintaining a database,
Recruiting patients,
Drafting research protocols,
Preparing submissions to Research Ethics Board,
Clinical data collection, analysis and interpretation,
Preparing presentations and drafting manuscripts,
Helping with grant submissions.

Excellent French and English, spoken and written,

Additional information

Status:
Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale:
$47, $87,887.80 per year, commensurate with education & work experience

Work Shift:
Daytime, Mondays to Fridays

Work Site:
Glen
